Phase 2 Yamuna Body Rolling Certification - Teacher Training Program
This part of the training teaches you how to teach YBR and how to explain what is actually happening in each part of the body as it is being worked. You learn how to assist students correctly during group classes and more detailed hands-on assists for working one on one.
You also learn new work that builds on what you learned in Yamuna Foundations. You learn how to work the body from the sideline examining the anatomy from the hips out through the armpit into the upper arm.
Designing and implementing focused classes and classes geared to specific populations, is a big part of this training. YBR can be focused for every person’s specific needs. It is with pride that we train our teachers how to do this so they can feel confident in helping people with all different special needs reach their personal bests.

Body Logic (YBR) the original work, created by Yamuna Zake, is the hands on modality from which Body Rolling was invented. It is a hands on experiential approach to creating balance in the body.
‘Yamuna Body Logic creates space between muscle and bone, allowing the body’s perfect circuitry to fire in logical and correct order. This, in turn, allows the body as a whole to perform optimally.’
If you are interested in experiencing this tremendous Bodywork please note upcoming session dates are available the 3rd week of each month.
WHAT TO EXPECT
This is Yamuna’s Master work, which all other works are derived from.
Yamuna Body Logic is an exceptional activity that assesses any structural issue and actually heals it.
From a session of YBL, a practitioner will know exactly what Yamuna Body Rolling (YBR) routines to recommend for self-healing. YBL is a very detailed and highly organized hands-on therapy that is recommended for anyone wanting to begin YBR. Through one session a practitioner works the entire body working every joint in every range of motion looking for restrictions and possible causes for the specific problem. The entire body is worked in most cases to see how the body has compensated and what all the parts are actually doing to contribute to the pain or problem pattern. The quality of bone, muscle, other soft tissue and alignment are focused on throughout the sessions.
Three sessions are usually recommended to fully assess and begin corrections so the client knows that healing and mending is possible. Once a client is stabilized the necessary YBR routines are taught. The goal is always to make each client independent.
